How do non-refundable tax credits on charitable donations work?
Yes, the National Zakat Foundation is a registered charity in Canada. When you donate online by credit card, your tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately. For other donations, keep your tax receipt; it will be emailed to you in February of the following year.
Do you accept employee matching donations?
Yes! Many companies match employee donations. Click here to see if your employer will match your contribution to NZF Canada.
Can I donate in a currency other than CAD?
We accept online donations from around the world, your credit card will be charged and converted into Canadian currency.
