Why should I donate by e-transfer?
E-transfers reach us quickly and securely, reducing processing fees. More of your donation goes directly to supporting Muslims in Canada.
Is my e-transfer safe?
Yes. E-transfers are encrypted and protect your banking information. Once received, funds are deposited directly into NZF Canada’s trust account.
Do I get a tax receipt for e-transfers?
Yes. You will receive a CRA-eligible tax receipt only after filling out the online form so we can match your transfer to your details.
When will I get a tax receipt for e-transfers?
Tax receipts are issued in February of the following year.
Can I designate where my donation goes?
Absolutely. The form allows you to choose from several areas of need — including assistance for families, newcomers, students, and housing.
What if I forget to fill out the form?
Don’t worry. You can fill it in at any time, but your tax receipt cannot be issued until we receive it.
Do I need a security question?
No — most e-transfers are auto-deposit. If a password is required, our team will contact you.
