Nourishing Futures
A successful school year starts with the essentials children need to feel supported. Alongside school supplies, access to nourishing food helps provide the energy, focus, and well-being children need in the classroom.
Through Nourishing Futures, NZF supports school-aged children and families with meals, nutrition education, and practical resources for healthier living.
Together, these programs help children begin the school year equipped, nourished, and ready to reach their potential.

The Gift of Barakah
For the past four years, you have helped make the back-to-school season a little easier for children and families across Canada. Because of you, we have provided backpacks and school supplies to more than 812 children — including 512 children last year alone.
Yet, many children are still preparing for the school year without the essentials they need. This year, your support can help us continue this work, lift a burden from families, and ensure more children have the tools they need to learn and grow.
In return, you share in the barakah of easing hardship and answering a need at the right time. Because when you gift a backpack, you gift a future.
Your donations will be directed to school essentials. In the case of necessity, funds will be directed towards supporting eligible beneficiaries as most urgently needed. This program is Zakat-eligible.
